Hansen’s Chances Looking Better

Now that Paynter is out, which horse will duel with Hansen in the Travers?

Nonios is more of a close range stalker.

Alpha only went for the lead last time because no one else did.

Liaison comes from way back.

Neck N Neck can show speed…it’s more likely he will sit in third or fourth early

Fast Falcon…although I have heard of this horse, his record isn’t in my memory and therefore he must not be that important.

Stealcase is another deep closer

Street Life might be the most talented deep closer out there, but he couldn’t overcome the slow pace in the Belmont.

Five Sixteen is the best Invasor in training (I think), yet it’s unlikely he will duel either.

Of course, I would need to see the final entries, but Hansen is looking good. At the very least, Hansen will be competitive in this race, contrary to the mass of people who are demanding he cut back to a sprint.

  1. rememberruffian said: No doubt that he will be the only pace-setter, but Hansen truly does belong in races from a mile to a 1 /16 miles. He showed that in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and the Gotham Stakes. It’s Shackleford all over again.
